For more than 25 years, AHC Hardwood Group has been offering an internship program to college students with interests in sustainable forest products in areas of both sales and manufacturing. The Candidate Must:

Sort lumber according to grade markings and size: remove boards from sorting table, hand truck, or conveyor and stacks in piles or places boards in rack or on conveyor, according to grade marking, length, or use of boards

Gauge length of boards by sight, by marks on sorting table, or by measuring with rule- Edge and Face Gluing

May remove defective lumber from conveyor and stack lumber according to grade, length, species, and color

Physical Requirements:The Candidate Must Be Able To Do The Following In Order To Safely Do This Job:

Continually lift 25-30lbs

Stand all day

Continually twist/bend

Endure outdoor weather elements (work is in a covered warehouse that is not climate controlled)
